Phase Three – What We Have Heard Report available
30 June 2020
During the five month consultation period from 1 October 2019 – 28 February 2020, we conducted 189 consultation activities, responded to 1110 enquiries and received 1790 submissions from councils, state agencies, industry practitioners and members of the community.
These responses are summarised in the What We Have Heard Report for Phase Three, alongside key recommendations for the draft Planning and Design Code’s improvement.
We have highlighted some of the results from the report in our media release.
Our final recommendations to the Minister for Planning will be published in a separate report prepared for the purposes of section 73 of the Planning, Development and Infrastructure Act 2016. This report will be made public following the Minister’s approval.
The Commission continues to work towards its implementation timeframes of late 2020 for the Phase Three (Urban Areas) Code. A precise date will be advised following consideration of submissions received and information will be posted to this site.
